Guided Walk: Pollinator friendly gardens - Batemans Bay

Sunday 17 November 2024

9am - 10:30am

Where: Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Garden, Deep Creek Dam Road, Batemans Bay

Venue to meet: Visitor Centre

Cost: Free

Join Di Clark, former nursery supervisor, on a guided walk of the Garden to talk about plants, plant groupings, and garden features that attract all kinds of pollinators. During the walk, you'll have a chance to gather ideas for your own garden, big or small!

Di will focus on our display gardens which showcase four styles of home garden designs. These gardens have key elements to ensure insect and non-insect pollinators do their job, helping to fertilise plants.

You'll also learn about strategies plants use to attract pollinators, and adaptations plants and their pollinators have evolved for a mutual partnership.
