National Tree Day: Plant, toy, and clothes swap - Batemans Bay
Sunday 27 July 2025
10am - 2pm
Where: Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Garden, Princes Highway, Batemans Bay
Cost: Free
Calling all green and brown thumbs! If you're a Eurobodalla resident, bring along environmental weeds from your garden and swap them for free native plants to celebrate National Tree Day. You can also ask Council's environment team about pesky plants in your garden, learn more about bush-friendly alternatives and water-wise gardens, and get great gardening tips and advice.
We're also joining eco-friendly forces with Vinnies Moruya to create a clothes swap for the whole family. Swapping is a clever and thrifty way to refresh your wardrobe, save money and help fight textile waste. Your pre-loved clothes will find a new home and you’ll leave with ‘new’ second-hand items for your wardrobe. To take part in the clothes swap, bring up to five items of clothing in excellent condition. Excellent condition means the clothing is clean, pressed and free from rips, holes, stains or major faults.
A toy swap is a fun way for children to exchange toys they no longer use. They also help to reduce waste and promote sharing. To take part in the toy swap, bring along your toys in excellent condition. Excellent condition means gently used toys that are clean, undamaged, and in good working order.
